Book Benches in Istanbul


Book benches in Istanbul. These unusual benches are designed for streets, bus stops, squares and parks of Istanbul, Turkey, they are decorated in the form of books. The city of Istanbul is promoting reading with the help of book bench. Benches that generally look like an open book is placed around the city and each bench carries Quotes from 18 famous Turkish writers. This Campaign are not only promotes the reading but also turns boring public into various functional works of art. It is a brilliant idea to promote readers with the use of such creative Book Benches which are located at the heart of the city. You can't spend your time in vain sitting on such a wise bench, besides such creative approach to architecture encourages people to study, learn and read.

Fiordo di Furore | Living in Solitude


Furore is a town and commune in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of south-western Italy. It is famous mainly because of Fjord — a small crack in the rocks, an ancient gorge, which in the past was a secret place of gangsters or bandits, it is also an narrow bay where the sea shows natural port, which can be reached only by sea. It is surrounded by natural rock arch that perfectly complements the grandeur of this place. Residents of this unique place built their houses on the bare rock this inhospitable territory, the fishermen homes also called "Manazeri" which means "Living in Solitude" are still on the rocks and have been recently refurbished. Thanks to its unique ecosystem. Fjord is home to several rear animals: Hawk pilgrims and a few other species. Here you can also fine some very rare species of ferns. This place is a natural oasis created for nature lovers and people who need to stay in seclusion.

Jumping out of a small tunnel, Fiordo crossed road leading from Amalfi to Sorrento. At an altitude of 30 meters above the water floating picturesque bridge. From the road down a staircase near where ceramic tiles sealed poem by an unknown poet Giuseppe Antonello me Leme or Leone dedicated fjord —  On the rocks surrounding fjord, located tiny fishing village. On the Amalfi Coast has historically engaged in manufacturing paper. In Amalfi even a museum paper manufactory. In one of the houses in also Fiordo hothouse paper. In another engaged in stone processing.

Guelta d'Archei | Amazing lake in Sahara Desert


Guelta d'Archei amazing place in the heart of the Sahara Desert, It is located in the Ennedi Plateau, It is located in the Ennedi Plateau, in north-eastern Chad, south-east of the town of Fada. The Guelta d'Archei is inhabited by several kinds of animals, most notably the Nile crocodile, one of the last palace where Nile crocodiles are found in Sahara. The Middle Holocene remains, as well as rock paintings, indicate that this species once thrived across most of today's Sahara Desert and in swamps and rivers along South Mediterranean shores. The small group of surviving crocodiles in the Guelta d'Archei represent one of the last colonies know in the Sahara today; the Tagant Plateau colony in Mauritania has likely been extinct since 1996. The word Guelta means "wetland", The reservoirs of this wetland is supported by groundwater. Guelta d'Arshey is surrounded by extensive desert areas, which make access to this awesome place.

Guelta Archei is a watering place for camels located in the Ennedi plateau. The guelta is also inhabited by a very small number ( between 1 and 7 there are only estimations) of the Nile crocodile. This is one of the last colonies of crocodiles in the Sahara. There is another colony in Mauritania. You can see the crocodile on the right edge.

That particular morning, one of the herdsmen was claiming that 850 of them were at once in the guelta. The value of a camel ranges between 250 EUR up to 800 EUR (and more). They are mainly raised for the milk they produce and as transport animals (not for the meat).

Street Art By French Artist Levalet


French artist Charles Leval known as 'Levalet'. Twenty seven yrs old Charles Leval born in the Lorraine region of East France. The artist injects humor into the streets of Paris by gluing animals and human-shaped paste-ups onto walls. A lot of thought goes into location too as each piece usually interacts with its environment in one way or another. Time to time Levalet updating his Face book pageand web-site, Besides his drawings, the artist uses two types of additional elements to the walls: the former are elements that are already in place as part of the environment such as plants, pots, cracks or posts. The others are elements Levalet artificially added as an umbrella or hammers for their characters use them as part of their actions.

Social Media Culture on Street Art


In a time where a lot of people are glued to their phones, this rings true, especially when you see people head down, walking into lamp posts on the way home from work because they can’t take their eyes off of their mobile device. iHeart a street-artist based in Vancouver, has created a series of street compositions in which each image examines our relationship to contemporary culture, social networks and their connection to a whole generation of children. Artist’s work is receiving a major boost from Banksy, the elusive yet famous British artist, after it was republished on his Facebook page and Istagram.

Animal Eyes Photography by Suren Manvelyan


The famous photographer Suren Manvelyan and he is in famous in macro photography. Suren born in 1976, he strarted photography in the age of sixteen and became as professional photographer in 2006. Suren's photography publish in many magazines and newspapers in Armenia and Worldwide. The popular series of close-ups of  "Animal Eyes" and "Your Beautiful Eyes" have had millions of views on Web. Published by National Geographic, Yahoo! Die Zeit, The Sun, Daily Mail etc etc. In 2001 Suren received his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the Yerevan State University, where his research focused on Quantum Chaos. He also got the President Award from Republic of Armenia next year for his research work in the field of Quantum Technologies.  Suren also love to plays musical instruments like guitar, cello, piano, block flute and lyre.
